Range Rover Relay Page...still under construction.
From my shenanigans with refreshing assorted relays in my RR to "prevent" failures... thus causing them instead!
The fuel pump and fuel injection load relays:
I ordered a bunch of relays from Mansfield in preparation for impending failures... I thought I was buying the right ones... "Green-Fuel Pump" YWB100790L RELAY GREEN FUEL PUMP
Original relay was a metal cased, 5 terminal, Bosch relay, 12V/30A
#0-332-014-112
"New" relay is a plastic cased, 5 terminal, 12V/30A, #7DB0301
So why did my truck not start when I swapped new for old, and after getting it running why did the battery die the next day?
The relays are NOT the same... check the wiring schematic on the side, see schematics below. The correct 5 terminal relay has 2 87-terminals, NOT an 87a and 87 terminal. BIG difference now that I notice it, but figured I'd bought the right relay.
